Here you’ll find all answers on size, material, kit and ordering: figures are 0.6 to 2 m tall, wall heads 0.3 to 1 m, both in 1.5 mm Corten or stainless steel. The configurator calculates the price at the end for exactly your animal.
Sculpture and ordering
How big can my sculpture be?
Figures range from 0.6 to 2 m, wall heads from 0.3 to 1 m. For businesses we build larger on request.
Can I get my own pet as a sculpture?
Yes. Upload a photo or describe your animal, get 4 designs and see the result as a rotatable 3D model before you order.
How much does a metal sculpture cost?
It depends on animal, height, material and version. The configurator calculates the price at the end for exactly your sculpture – free and non-binding.
Which material is better outdoors?
Both are weatherproof. Corten forms a rust-brown protective patina, stainless steel 1.4301 stays brushed silver. Both are 1.5 mm thick.
What is included in the kit?
All parts, laser-cut, bent and engraved with numbers. A 1 m wolf has 184 parts and 38 m of weld. You need your own welder.
How long does production take?
Production takes [lead time to follow] from order; large business formats by arrangement.
Where do you ship?
To all EU countries – Malta and Cyprus on request. The configurator shows shipping costs before you order.
How is a sculpture fixed in place?
Figures stand on a base plate [fixing to follow]; wall heads have a flat back for wall mounting.
Garden and setup
Will a Corten garden sculpture rust through?
No. The patina protects the 1.5 mm steel from deep corrosion. Avoid standing water at the base plate.
How big should a garden sculpture be?
Up to 1 m for beds and terraces, 1.5 to 2 m as an eye-catcher on a lawn or by a pond.
Does Corten stain paving stones?
In the first [period to follow], rain can wash out rust particles. Place the figure on gravel or a base.
Can the sculpture stay outside in winter?
Yes, both materials are made for year-round display.
How is the sculpture delivered?
Fully welded and safely packed [shipping method to follow], or as a kit with numbered parts.
Production
How many parts does a sculpture have?
A 1 m wolf has 184 parts, a 1.5 m gorilla 227 parts, a 50 cm wolf head 116 parts.
Which photos work best?
Sharp photos in daylight, the whole animal visible, ideally from the side and at an angle from the front.
How thick is the sheet?
All sculptures are made of 1.5 mm Corten steel or stainless steel 1.4301.
Why are the parts numbered?
The number shows where the part goes. With the kit you assemble the figure step by step.
